Democrat Hilary Rosen Sparks Twitter Uproar Over Ann Romney Comments

Ann Romney joined Twitter on Wednesday night after Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen said on CNN that Romney "has never actually worked a day in her life."Speaking on Anderson Cooper 360, Rosen said that it didn't make much sense for presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney to look to Ann for advice on women's issues because she was out of touch with the problems faced by most women in …

    Romney’s religion a problem?

Ichabod Asked: Romney’s religion a problem?

So out of all the Repulican candidates in the U.S. Why is Mitt Romney getting so much harassment about being a mormon? They call him out on being a christian but He is the only one to not claim to make the country more God-fearing. Some even claim he's not christian, mormons are actually called the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints. It seems pretty straight forward to me. Why are they picking on him for being affiliated with religion when he is the only one who hasn't publicly exclaimed his faith into the microphone. Thoughts?

Why are Democrats & Unions coming together for Santorum to beat Romney & why isn’t Fox News Reportin

tblbaby Asked: Why are Democrats & Unions coming together for Santorum to beat Romney & why isn’t Fox News Reportin

MN MO primary they turned out in droves to vote against Romney. In Michigan they are planning it again. Fox News Pundits absolutely glowing at what seemed like a sound Santorum victory.

The fact is that with a full assesment of the records, as Fox News & Radio affiliates are not providing because they have a problem with Mitt, Romney is by far the best candidate with the least dirt & widest appeal. Democrat establishment fears his nomination, clearly. They havn't spent $ or effort going after Santorum or Newt, but they've spent Millions attacking Mitt Romney & Obama has been using his POTUS podium to attack as well. Even George Soros said he'd like Mitt, to anyone who knows that Machiavellian old creature of manipulation, that means he's trying to give the other candidates ammo against Mitt.

Dig deep, go past what you see in the News, all of you. Verify what you hear & don't be set in your judgement of who would be best for a candidate or the POTUS until you do that.

Dude, It doesn't matter which one you nominate. Republicans are going to get crushed, and everybody knows it. You guys jumped on board, all we are doing is just trying to keep this crazy train you call a primary season going! Every minute and every dollar you guys spend destroying each-other is another minute and dollar we can not bother with. With luck your two best candidates will have served each-others heads on a platter. That's the plan and we are sticking to it. Who knew Fox News would be on OUR side? Isn't that like… the 7th sign or something?

    Liz Answered:
That is very simple. Mitt Romney is the best candidate in the US since Ronald Reagan, who was a Democrat before he became a Republican.

Santorum with his nasty mouth is toast in a general election. He's said women should stay home with the kids. Likened Homosexual sex to bestiality. Even Palin Called him a Knuckle Dragging Neanderthal. The first woman pilot running for Republican office said she's like to kick him in the Jimmy because he's such a throw back bigoted idiot.

Rick Has No endorsements by those who worked with him in the Senate. Neither does Newt. They were both lobbiests and both have major character issues. Rick stealing from his own Charity. Newt cheated on 2 wives & is bringing one cheat with him as 1st lady if he wins? WOW!

They both have serious departations from fiscal conservatism. Rick the king of Pork, Newt the father of ear marks who panders like Obama to gain votes & so does Rick. Wasting our money for their own political gain.

Rick & Newt's charitable giving? Less than 2%, down there with Obama as tight wad rich guys. Mitt Romney? 16% and from 14% to 16% every year plus he gives a lot never recorded.

Are closed primaries and caucuses a covert way of disenfranchising voters?

mark Asked: Are closed primaries and caucuses a covert way of disenfranchising voters?

    (or perhaps not so covert)

Close to half of the states use caucuses or closed primaries to vote for the nominee for president for either the democratic or republican party.Basically this means that in these states that if you do not register as either a Republican or Democrat that you do not participate in the primary/caucus election process.

Contrast that to the other half of the states that have open primaries where everybody gets to vote in the primary (even those individuals that are not affiliated like independents).

So, these states with caucuses or closed primaries are preventing independents from participating in the process.Or, they are driving people toward registration with a political party just so they can participate.

Seems to me that not only are they disenfranchising independents but they are also propagating party affiliation which seems to have contributing to the great political divide that exists in this country.

I think parties should be allowed to nominate their own candidates.Remember when Obama was leading in the Demo primaries in 2008, Rush Limbaugh told Republicans in safe Republican states to re-register as Democrats and vote for Hillary?Dirty pool. But then what did we expect from the likes of Limbaugh.

In fact, I don't think the Republican candidate is chosen by voters at all.Traditionally party leaders pick the guy they like and line up the money behind him, and when he joins the race first with the biggest war chest the media crown him as the 'presumptive candidate' and mostly ignore all the others.Doesn't it seem like everyone already knows Mitt Romney is going to be the nominee? The primaries are only a rubber stamp.

Is this good or bad news for Pres. Obama?

The Pleasure of flesh Asked: Is this good or bad news for Pres. Obama?

Most self-affiliated members of Tea Party Nation, one of the largest national organizations for the grassroots conservative movement, would vote for Mitt Romney as president if confronted with a choice between him or President Obama, according to a poll of members released to The Hill on Friday.

The group surveyed its members this week in an informal poll posted at the groups website. The question asked was: If Romney is the GOP nominee, what will you do in the general election?

Fifty-two percent of about 1,150 respondents said they would hold their nose and vote for Romney if he becomes the GOP nominee, while 23 percent said they would vote for an unspecified third-party candidate. Twelve percent said they would not vote in the presidential election at all if the choice is between Romney and Obama.
